Core Identity

Hiding in Plain Sight

Early directions explored familiar programming language and symbols before landing on a simpler idea: search. The Q became a search glass hiding in plain sight—a mark built around finding what others couldn’t see.

Physical System

Physical Presence

The identity was intentionally restrained, but the physical materials gave it weight. Soft-touch papers, blind embossing and silver foil added texture to an otherwise minimal system, while details like security-pattern envelope liners carried the identity through to the smallest pieces.

Web Experience

Digital Experience

The website extended the identity into an experience. Aerial imagery, location data and shifts in perspective reinforced the idea of seeing the bigger picture before narrowing in on what matters.

The challenge with an identity this simple was making sure the idea behind it was strong enough to extend beyond the logo. The Q gave the identity something to build from, whether it was hiding in the wordmark, embossed into a business card or shaping the way the website worked. The founders loved where it landed, and the project grew into an ongoing relationship that included Presence and Log Zero.
